October - December Hostess Exclusive

The new Hostess Reward is here!!! Along with it, there are some changes to our hostess rewards program to give you even more FREE jewelry! Previously...in order to receive your hostess reward for free, you needed a Jewelry Bar that did $1200 in retail sales. Now, you only need $1000 in retail sales!

Example of how the rewards work...
If your Jewelry Bar has $650 in retail sales (which is average) you will receive 20% of the retail sales in free product...that is $130 in FREE jewelry!! You will 2 items half off AND a 50% discount on the hostess exclusive!!! Plus, if any additional parties are booked from your party, you will receive an additional half off item!!! You could get your entire wish list free, and still scoop up some pieces as gifts!

Last Call

You can also purchase the single "Pioneer" or the new album along with the Tag. You will receive an email with your single or album download right away. The Tag will ship out in October. This is a limited item and will only be offered through pre-order September 3-30. So make sure you get your order in today!!!

You can listen to a sample of the single, "Pioneer" Here and place your pre-order for the Tag and also purchase the single or the album.

Fall Fashion Trends 2013

As an Origami Owl Independent Designer, I think it is important to keep up on fashion trends. This way we can help our customers stay trendy, while also helping them build their story into heirloom pieces.

Our new Take Out Menu (catalog) for Fall will be released October 1st! I have seen some of the new items and I am so excited about the new items coming out in time for the Holidays!

So let's talk Fall trends. I am asked all the time about mixing metals...gold, silver, rose gold. And I can confirm that this is a must do trend! I've read articles in Cosmo and Lucky magazines on this trend. I love how our black lockets look with silver or gold. The chocolate locket with rose gold is delicious (in fact this combo is our September Hostess Reward).

The next Fall Trend is layering necklaces. Origami Owl jewelry is perfect for this because the pieces are made to go together and look great together. Or you can layer them with pieces you already have. When layering, balance out your pieces by using different chain lengths and thickness. Wear your locket on a thin, short chain, and layer with a longer oval link chain and a chunky dangle. Or get the same chain length in different metals and wear them together.

The third big jewelry trend for Fall is pendants. Dangles make perfect pendants when worn alone, and you can easily switch them out every day. You can also wear them in combination, think grown up charm necklace.

3 Months In

I have completed my third month as an Origami Owl Independent Designer and I have to say...I am still loving it! I now have a team of three awesome designers, truly making this a business venture for us all. I love mentoring my own team and working with the other ladies that are mentored by my same mentor. We all bounce ideas off of each other and come up with some great stuff! Not to mention..I love my commission checks!
